Usual adult dose
Usual adult dose: start with 5 mg three times a day, increased slowly by your doctor; usually not more than 60 to 100 mg a day. Do not stop suddenly — the dose must be lowered slowly.
Your doctor may give you a different dose. Children's doses depend on weight.

- nausea

Serious — get help
Stop taking it and see a doctor straight away if you notice:
- seizures
- seeing or hearing things
- high fever or severe stiffness after stopping suddenly
Do not take it, or take care, if
- Epilepsy, mental illness or stroke (use with caution)
- Kidney disease (lower dose needed)
- Do not drink alcohol or drive if drowsy
