Usual adult dose for high blood pressure: 12.5 to 25 mg once a day in the morning (up to 50 mg).
Your doctor may give you a different dose. Children's doses depend on weight.
Stop taking it and see a doctor straight away if you notice:
Medicines that can react with this one.
Thiazide-like diuretics raise lithium levels and the risk of toxicity.
Low potassium from the diuretic raises the risk of digoxin toxicity.
